Increase in active portfolio
By October, 31st, 2010 the active credit portfolio of the organization reached 5 million US dollars.
Visit of KIVA representative
KIVA representative Scott Bellouz visited the organization to monitor and discuss further cooperation.
KIVA fellow
New KIVA fellow Carrie Piesen arrived in MLO «Humo and Partners» to render technical assistance, organize credit histories of KIVA clients and update journals.
Granting of loans with a grace period
New parameters on farm products with a grace period of repayment for group clients were prepared. Also exchange charges subject to the loan sum were reconsidered.
Participation on TCH Fund presentation
The Finance Manager of the organization participated in a TCX Fund presentation on issues of hedging and the granting of loans in local currency.
Ending of Official journey
On October, 29th, 2010 the official journey of KIVA fellow Donald Hart came to an end. Donald worked to verify client data on KIVA and researched the social influence of Humo (using the CERISE Social Performance Indicator tool). The final version of the report will be presented to KIVA management and to «HUMO and Partners». National souvenirs in memory of stay in RT were handed over to the fellow and along with gratitude for all of his work and, especially for his active participation in HUMO championship on mini football.
Training on pledge
On October, 8th lawyers held training in Kurgan Tube city, on the theme «Pledge and an order of registration of contracts on pledge».
Ending of Championship of mini football
On October, 16th, 2010 the championship of mini football dated to «5 anniversary» MLO «Humo and Partners» came to an end. Certificates and monetary prizes were handed over to all finalists of the championship. Kurgan Tube branch received the big Cup as the champion of mini football. In second place was Head office, which received the congratulatory certificate and monetary compensation of 900 TJS. Shahritus branch came in third place.
Training on individual lending
On October, 06th, 07th and 08th, 2010, training on technology of individual lending was held in Kurgan Tube branch for individual loan officers of Shahritus, Rumi and Kurgan Tube branches.
The day of open door
On October, 23rd, 2010 the head office of the company held "A day of open door" for Individual loan officers. There was a presentation on the history of the technology of individual lending, and also presentation held by Control department - about the most typical errors and problems of individual demands, and an operational experience of separate employees. Participants of this day discussed the basic successes and problems of this kind of lending and exchanged operational experiences with colleagues from other branches.
Salary payment to employees on plastic cards in Kurgan Tube branch
Regular employees received wages for October on plastic cards that allowed them to save a transport expenses and time for traveling from distant zones.
Sub-office opening in J. Rasulov district
At the end of October a service point was opened in J. Rasulov district of Sogd region.
