Meeting of managers company in Romit
On 8 May were conducted two meetings for top and middle managers of the organization for discussion of current and urgent issues, developing the tactics and strategies for improvement of the services quality, attraction of new clients, keeping old clients and etc. During these meetings Branch managers shared their best practical experiences, made good interesting presentations and proposed some changes in current procedures. Next Branch managers meeting will be held in September, 2011.
Participation on MFC conference
General Director and Branch Manager of Yavan branch have participated in 15 MFC conference which was held in Prague at May 18-20, 2011. During the conference General Director met with a representatives of EBRD, Micro Vest, Triodos Bank, Grammen Credit Agricole, Triple Jump, Incofin, Cyrano Group, BlueOrchards, Developing World Markets, Micro Credit Enterprise, BFC consulting and others.
Special Action for Idi Vakhdat (Reunion Day)
In honor of Idi Vakhdat from May 20 to June 30, 2011 was declared a special lending action at low interest rates for the new group of clients. The action was supported by radio advertising on "Sadoi Dushanbe." As a result of the action organization attracted 694 new clients: 330 women and 364 men.
Mini – Football Championship
22 May 2011 began championship of mini-football among ministries, organizations, banks and committees in Dushanbe; a team of our organization was participated in the championship. The first game of our team was on 22 May with a team of the Investment Committee, our team wan this game with a score of 7:3. On May 28 hosted the second leg game with a team Amonatbank, and our team again won this second game with a score 3-2. The third game between our team and a team of Ministry of Finance was held on May 29, where unfortunately our team lost with a acore 1:3.
Practice in HUMO
Student of 3-rd course of faculty Economy of the American University of Central Asia, which is located in the Bishkek city passed the practice in the Head Office of HUMO from 24 May to 21 June 2011. Her target was to get experience and prepare herself for a future profession.
Representatives of Tajik Rural Finance Program of IFC have visited HUMO with a purpose to discuss a possibility of collaboration in a frame of new project. The project will be implemented through Ministry of Finance and National Bank of Tajikistan. HUMO was short listed and at the beginning of June the project consultants had started a Due Diligence process. The objective of the project is strengthening sustainable financial institutions that provide financial services for micro and small enterprises (MSE) mainly in the rural areas and outside of Dushanbe.
Also the project will contribute to the creation of new job places and stabilization of employment and income through deepening and broadening of the Tajik rural financial sector. In the frame of this project the organization can benefit a long term funding and also get technical support for a development of new innovative products for targeted clients.
Summer courses of the Frankfurt School of finance and management
In May, two our colleagues have been selected for participation at the summer courses in the Frankfurt School of finance and management.
Development of Social and Environmental Policy
As is known, is increasing worldwide awareness and understanding of the social and environmental impacts. The organization is recognizing the importance and relevance of social and environmental risk management. By this reason was started development of the special Social and Environmental Policy. A draft policy will be presented to HUMO Board and all managers in July, 2011 for review and recommendations.
