5th National conference of Micro financial sector of Tajikistan
On June, 24th, 2011 the 5th National conference of micro financial sector of Tajikistan took place in the Center for Strategic researches. 9 employees of Humo, including Directors of Branches and employees of Head office have participated in this conference. The conference purpose was definition of the basic tools, mechanisms, methodologys and approaches for maintenance of all-round access of the population of Tajikistan to adequate micro financial products and services to supporting process of steady social and economic development of the country. During conference 4 sessions were held and highly important issues of development of micro financial sector of the country were discussed.
A financial rating
Since June, 28th the financial rating which is held by company Microfinanza Rating (Italy) began in Humo. According to the schedule, raters met all departments at Head office, and also visited some branches of the company. The final report will be prepared in August of this year.
The project on improvement of risks management system
International consultants on improvement of risks management system have paid a two week visit in the organization for an assessment of a current status of risk management system. Consultants visited organization’s branches in Kurgan Tube, Rumi and Dushanbe, held meetings with all employees of Head office, conducted a number of trainings, and prepared recommendations about in what directions the organization should work on improvement of existing risks management system. Their work will proceed till the end of this year, and they intend to visit Humo even twice. The project is financed by the European bank for development in the frame of the technical assistance given Humo.
A semi-annual estimation of the personnel
Since June, 15th, 2011 the semi-annual appraisal of the personnel began.
New loan
In June , 2011 Humo received the draft loan agreement for getting the new loan from international creditors . At present the terms and conditions of the new loan are in process of negotiation.
Cooperation with MicroWorld
The Loan agreement with Micro World Company is signed. Representatives of this company spent two weeks in Humo, all policies and procedures on granting of loans to clients were studied, were chosen regions and target group of clients for the work, were hired the credit employee, and was got the necessary equipment.
It pleasure that Humo is the first micro financial organization in Tajikistan with whom the company started a cooperation.
The new module on credit scoring
There was inserted the new module on credit scoring in the organizations’ credit base. The module will be used for an assessment of credit status of the borrower. Though the technical assistance on introduction of credit scoring was presented by European Bank for Reconstruction and Development simultaneously to several financial institutions, our organization is one of the firsts who started piloting of the new module.
